In which countries does the IWF Knowledge and Media deliver?

The sale of media is possible in both EU and non-EU countries. In isolated cases delivery restrictions can apply.

How much will I have to pay?

Media sales:
Please look up the gross prices for VHS PAL, VHS NTSC, DVD Video (MPEG2), CD-/DVD-ROM (MPEG1) and Download (MPEG1) in our Price List for Sale of Media; the prices for other formats are available on request (current price).
You can also look at scientific video clips in preview quality at no charge in our Infotheque and buy them in high-resolution format. They are delivered on CD.

In Germany there is a shipping charge of 5 Euros in addition to the sales price. The shipping charges for foreign countries is in accordance with the actual charges that are to be paid per shipment plus a 5 Euro handling charge.

Licences:
Please understand that we can only provide price information on licences on the basis of a concrete inquiry. You can look at the recommended prices for standard licence business.

In Germany 7% VAT is added to the net prices. For deliveries to foreign countries the calculation of the VAT depends on the circumstances in the individual case.

How can I check on my order?

During our business hours (see above) we are also glad to give you information about your current orders on the telephone at +49 (0)551 5024-244. To facilitate this, please have your customer account number ready.

What is the length of delivery time that I must expect?

We go to great efforts to always fill orders without delay and as quickly as possible. If you have purchased media, a delivery time of a week is to be expected as a rule.

How can I pay for my order?

Via bank transfer:
You receive an invoice with your merchandise. If you have purchased media, please pay the invoice within 30 days after receipt of order.

Via credit card:
You simply state the credit card number and the expiration date on placing your order. When we ship the merchandise to you, we book the corresponding amount from your account. If this is not possible, we contact you. Due to the current level of technical development, in the interest of data security, we recommend that you do not send us any credit card numbers via the Internet.

Advance payment:
In certain cases, primarily for deliveries in foreign countries outside of Europe, advance payment can be required. We will inform you expressly about your individual case in the course of filling your order if this applies to you. You can also make advance payment by sending us a cheque.

What can I do if I do not agree with the invoice?

Please send us any objections to invoices within 14 days after receipt of invoice in writing. Objections to invoices that we receive later than 14 days after invoice receipt cannot not be take into consideration.

To what extent can I use the purchased media?

At the time of complete payment (including the ancillary costs) you receive the right to use the purchased medium in unaltered form for non-commercial educational purposes in a non-public context. More extensive use which occurs without our prior written agreement can lead to assertion of compensation as well as prosecution. In the same manner, passing on the medium to third parties requires our prior written agreement.
